Microsoft Word is a word processor developed by Microsoft Corporation USA. It was first released in 1983 under the name Multi-Tool Word for Xenix systems.[1][2][3] Subsequent versions were later written for several other platforms including IBM PCs running DOS (1983), the Apple Macintosh (1984), the AT&T Unix PC (1985), Atari ST (1986), SCO UNIX, OS/2, and
Microsoft Windows (1989). It is a component of the Microsoft Office software system; it is also sold as a standalone product and included in Microsoft Works Suite.

Typing Tips
- Press Tab key to indent the first line of paragraph
- Capitalize the first letter of sentence by pressing letter along with (Shift key)
- Make a space between each word by pressing a (Space bar)
- Do not press (enter key)to change the line of paragraph
- Press (enter key) to change a paragraph
- After typing certain number of paragraph page changes automatically but to break the page with force press (Ctrl + Enter key)
- While typing, the red underline mark indicates your spelling error and green underline mark is for grammar mistake. To correct such mistake immediately press right mouse key on the line or word where to be corrected.
